Are you considering new countertops?
You have certainly come to the right place. I am the countertop guy that comes out to install when you order new laminate countertops from many of our local floor stores here in Spokane.
What's wrong with getting my tops through the floor store then?
The stores sell the product including installation and hire an installer (who has never been to the jobsite and has no idea what to expect when he gets there) to install it. They have to mark up the installation to make it worth their while. There is usually a communication gap between the salesperson (who has little or no practical jobsite experience) and the end consumer.
What would be some advantages of hiring an installer 'labor direct'
- I offer wholesale pricing on the laminate.
- I can come to the jobsite to get a better idea of what to plan for, and in many cases, I can do the messy work offsite, which makes for a faster, cleaner installation.
- You would not be paying overhead for a huge fancy showroom and all the employee expenses that go with it.
- You would know that you're getting a laminate professional instead of a carpet and vinyl installer.
- There are so many options that I know of that the floor stores don't sell because they haven't seen them, or because they don't know anyone who can do it. I certainly won't share this with them because I'm afraid they will send me to do the work and pay me the standard labor prices.
