You have come to the right place. I am the countertop guy that comes out to install when you order new laminate countertops from many of our local floor stores here in Spokane.
What's wrong with getting my tops through the floor store then?
There is certainly nothing wrong with ordering tops through the floor stores. That saves me from having to go out and measure and help the customer pick colors. Chances are pretty good that I will be involved in the installation anyway which usually turns out to be a one-day job if it goes smoothly, but sometimes it takes longer because the store doesn't always give me good information when they send me out to jobs. I can't come prepared for every possible scenario.
What would be some advantages of hiring an installer 'labor direct'
- I offer wholesale pricing on the laminate.
- I can come to the jobsite to get a better idea of what to plan for, and in many cases, I can do the messy work offsite, which makes for a faster, cleaner installation.
- You would not be paying overhead for a huge fancy showroom and all the employee expenses that go with it.
- You would know that you're getting a laminate professional instead of a carpet and vinyl installer.
- There are so many options that I know of that the floor stores don't sell because they don't know anyone who can do it. I certainly won't share this with them because I'm afraid they will send me to do the work and pay me the standard labor prices.
